Head's up! It's the first of the month. You know what that means....Coupons.com reset their coupons! New month = NEW COUPONS! Hurry before all of the good ones have reached their print limit! I have heard that there are some great ones on Pampers and wipes. Gonna go check it out now :)

How many inserts are coming this Sunday???

I have heard to expect as many as 5 inserts this week! Of course, this is regional so here in SoCal, we may only get three...three is still better than the regular 2 so I'm still good.
I am definetly expecting a Smart Source, Redplum, and Proctor and Gamble. I have heard there's a Target one and even a Wal-mart one. I have never seen a Wal-mart coupon insert here in SoCal so I am kinda iffy about that one. But I do know that in other states, Wal-mart doubles coupons, so maybe they are trying this out too!

2 Smart Source inserts on 2/26

Last week was slow for coupons...This Sunday, expect 2 Smart Source inserts! Basically, just using this to hold us over until the following week when we can see some more Proctor and Gamble inserts come our way!

NEW Spam printable coupon! $1 off of two!

Spam has a new printable coupon out for $1 off of two products. Wal-mart has these for $2.34 (I think, it might be 2.84) either way, $1 off is awesome either way :) My kids LOVE spam with mac and cheese! oh and don't forget to hit the back button! This one prints twice!

Great stock up deals at Food for Less this week!

I found so really great deals at Food for Less this week that I didn't see advertised in their flyer, so of course, I need to share with you!
Here's the rundown -
49 cents for BBQ sauce
9 cents a waffle (Breakdown of eggo waffles)
40 cents a piece for hot pockets
45 cents a piece for Hormel Compleats

For starters, they have 10 bottles of Kraft Barbeque sauce for .68 cents a bottle! Normally, this is around $1 a bottle. It gets even better! With this deal, I got a print out for $2 off of my next purchase! I know that 10 bottles sounds like a lot, but seriously, at this price, just find somewhere to store it. Summer is just around the corner and this stuff will really come in handy!

10 bottles at .68 cents a bottle - 6.98
minus $2 printout                    - 4.98
4.98 for 10 bottles makes them 49 cents a bottle! Half of the regular price!

The second deal I found was great for quick breakfast makers! 10 boxes of Eggo waffles for 1.98 a box and you can mix up the flavors!
so for 11.98 I was able to get 2 boxes of strawberry, 2 blueberry, 2 chocolate chip, 2 cinnamon toast and 2 french toast. (10 waffles per box, 10 boxes - 100 waffles!)
Normally, the best deal that I get on Eggo waffles is 9.85 for a box of 60 which is about 16 cents per waffle.
11.98 for 100 waffles is about 11 cents per waffle.
and even better - this deal comes with a $2 off next purchase coupon so its like paying 9.98 for 100 waffles, or 9 cents per waffle! (and its assorted flavors! The regular box is 60 of the same waffle!)

Another deal I found was on Hot Pockets! The kids love them!!! Normally, I buy the box of 12 for 10.35 a box...86 cents per hot pocket. If you buy 10 boxes, they are 1.58. That's 20 hot pockets for 11.58 - 57 cents a piece. Plus I got a print out for 1.50 off of more hot pockets and 2.00 my next purchase.
so--
total price for 10 boxes 11.58
minus coupons                3.50
new total - 8.08 for 20 hot pockets - about 40 cents a piece!

and lastly, a great idea for my work lunches, Hormel compleats! These came in 2 flavors - Chicken and mashed potatoes and chicken alfredo. Once again, I had to buy 10 of them, at 1.58 a piece. But of course, I had coupons for $1 off when you buy two and there was a yet another printout for $2.00!
So for this deal scenario,
total price -                   11.58
minus regular coupons -   5.00  (I had 5 $1 coupons!)
minus store printout-        2.00
new total -                     4.58 for all 10 meals which comes out to
almost 45 cents a piece! Could you imagine paying 45 cents for lunch !?!

just to put it all in perspective, I got 100 waffles, 20 hot pockets, 10 lunch meals and 10 bottles of barbecue sauce for a total of 53.20!

So last week I found a bunch of random items on clearance. This week I was able to score some pretty decent food deals. Nothing spectacular but all-in-all, not bad. For $27 I can make 6 dinners and 8 deserts!

Why do I stock up on the trial size Cascade?

I know it seems like a hassle and I know that we are living in a world of "economy sizes" but Cascade caught on! Thank goodness I had 10 50 cent coupons!

Cascade action packs -price per pack

$6.97 for 32 packs - individual price - 21 cents a piece

$3.97 for 20 packs - individual price - 19 cents a piece

$.97 minus a 50 cents coupon = 47 cents for 3 packs 15 cents a pack!

---so using my coupons, I instead of spending 6.97 for 32 packs, I spent $4.70 for 30 packs!!!

(p.s I forgot to write down how many come in the 12.97 bucket but I remember saying at the store that you are basically paying $2 for the little bucket they come in!)
